This is all four kids enjoying a wonderful day in the snow. Years ago when Travis & I started talking about moving to the country, I said that I really wanted a sledding hill for the kids. Since we homeschool & live in MN -where 1/2 our lives our spent in this freezingness I thought it only made sense that our kids had a sledding hill. Well when we started actually looking at houses I had that in the back of my mind, not really thinking it was something to write down as our criteria for our new home, but hoping to find a little hill. At our new home we have a GREAT hill right outside the kitchen windows (where I can choose to drink my hot coffee & watch the kids) & about 3 other hills the kids have introduced to me. Hours have been spent outside this winter & I am so greatful for the blessing of 'snow hills'.
our cat Sarafina
the boys (& the girls) spend lots of time down here.
our oldest has a passion for legos- can you tell? he is nice enough to let the
other kids come in & they each have a box of legos to call their own. lately, as part of school
I have a lego challenge for them. I ask JR to make a plane, boat, car... & he comes up with some
crazy good stuff. It keeps him occupied :)
don't you love her shirt? I wish you could see it better. it says "JOY"
i can't belive how old she looks in this picture.
